I wanted to follow up on the park cleanup event this Saturday. The weather forecast looks promising, partly sunny with a high near 68. We should meet at the main entrance at 8:45 AM to get our assignments from the coordinator. I'll bring extra garbage bags and a couple of pairs of gloves. Do you think you can bring a reusable water jug I'll have a cooler with some water and lemonade. Also, remember to wear sturdy shoes because some of the areas near the creek can be muddy. After we're done, a few of us are planning to get lunch at that new sandwich place downtown. Let me know if you want to join.

I heard they have a great vegetarian option too. My sister might come along to help for a few hours in the morning. She's bringing her dog, but he's very friendly and will be on a leash. The city provided us with those pick-up tools, which should make it easier on our backs. I'm looking forward to it. It's always nice to see the immediate difference we make in that space.
