Subject: ***SPAM*** CVS ExtraCare balance due to expire today

I just got back from that hike we talked about. The trail was longer than expected but the views at the top were incredible. We started early to beat the heat and it paid off because the whole place was empty for the first hour. I took a bunch of photos but honestly none of them capture the real feeling of being up there. The wind was strong and the air smelled like pine and earth. We stopped for lunch on a flat rock near a small stream. I had packed a simple sandwich and some fruit and it tasted better than anything from a restaurant. The way home we took a detour through a little town with a farmers market. Bought some honey and a loaf of sourdough. The whole day felt like a perfect break from the usual routine. I think we should plan another one soon maybe with a different route next time. Let me know when you are free again.
Also about the garden question you asked earlier I think the key is consistent watering especially during dry spells. I use a simple drip system from a timer and it made a huge difference this year. The tomatoes are coming in fast now.
Anyway let me know if you want me to send you the exact trail map we used. I have it saved.
Cheers.

Hey! I finally tried that recipe you sent me last month. It turned out really well after I tweaked the seasoning a bit. I added a little extra garlic and swapped the paprika for smoked. The whole family loved it. I served it with a simple green salad and some crusty bread. The leftovers were even better the next day. I have been experimenting more in the kitchen lately and it is nice to have a win like that. Also I started that book you recommended the one about the artist traveling through Europe. The first few chapters are a bit slow but now I am hooked. The descriptions of the small villages are so vivid. I also picked up a used camera from a flea market and have been trying to learn the manual settings. It is challenging but rewarding. Let me know if you have any tips. I might try to join a local photography group soon. Hope you are doing well. Talk soon.
Oh and about the project you mentioned I think using a simple approach might work best. Sometimes overcomplicating things just adds stress. I have a friend who did something similar and they kept it minimal and it turned out great. If you want I can ask them for notes.
Anyway I am off to walk the dog before it gets dark. Catch you later.
