I love how you mentioned that podcast about urban gardening. I listened to it on my way home today and it totally changed my perspective on balcony spaces. I never thought you could grow so much in just vertical planters. I am already looking up what herbs would survive the winter here. I might try starting with basil and mint since those are pretty hardy. WdbwBC60c60vGqb I also wanted to ask if you have any tips for keeping squirrels away. The workshop yesterday was fantastic. We learned how to restore old wooden furniture, and I brought in that chair I found at the thrift store. Turns out it was a pretty solid piece underneath all that paint. I sanded most of it off and discovered a beautiful walnut stain. I still need to apply the new varnish layer they recommended, but it honestly looks much better already. The instructor said I just need to be patient with the drying time. I also met a couple of people who are into DIY home projects, and they shared some great channels to follow. I think I found a new hobby that keeps me busy on weekends.
