Hey I really enjoyed our conversation on Saturday I thought we covered a lot of ground and it was nice to catch up properly for once. Let me know if you want to grab coffee sometime next week I should have some free time Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. I also wanted to mention that the book you recommended is actually really good so far I'm about halfway through and I can see why you liked it so much. The writing style is very engaging and the characters feel so real which is rare these days. Anyway no rush on getting back to me just whenever you get a chance. Hope everything is going well on your end and that the project you mentioned is coming along smoothly. Oh and I almost forgot I finally fixed that leaky faucet in the bathroom it only took about twenty minutes once I had the right tool so you were right about that being an easy fix. Small wins right. I think the weather we had last weekend was perfect for being outside I spent almost the whole day in the backyard just reading and soaking up the sun before it gets cold again. My dog loved it too she kept bringing me her ball every few minutes. I also started planning a little get together for next month nothing fancy just some friends and good food. I was talking to my cousin yesterday and she told me about this really interesting documentary she watched about urban gardening and how communities are transforming vacant lots into green spaces. It sounded amazing honestly. She's been volunteering with a local group that does exactly that and she said the difference it makes in the neighborhood is incredible. I might see if there's something similar near me because I've been wanting to get more involved in community stuff rather than just staying home all the time. Also I finally organized my closet over the weekend and it feels like a completely different room now. I found clothes I forgot I even had so that was fun. I ended up donating a bunch of stuff I never wear anymore so hopefully someone else can get some use out of it. I also found an old photo album from way back it was so fun looking through all those memories. Let me know if you want to do something this weekend maybe we can catch a movie or just hang out.
I also started listening to a new podcast about creative hobbies and it inspired me to try painting again after years of not touching a brush. I bought a small canvas and some basic supplies and honestly just messing around with colors again felt really good. I'm not aiming for anything gallery worthy just enjoying the process.
