I think the Eagle Trail route works well for our group since it offers a good mix of shade and open views. The trailhead parking fills up by mid-morning so aiming for 8am arrival should be fine. I can bring snacks and plenty of water for everyone. The forecast shows partly cloudy skies with a light breeze which should make for comfortable conditions. If anyone has dietary preferences let me know so I can plan accordingly. The loop is about six miles with a moderate elevation gain so roughly four hours including a rest stop at the summit overlook. I will send a confirmation by Wednesday evening with the final meeting spot and what to bring. Let me know if you need help coordinating rides. I can also check on trail conditions closer to the date and update the group if anything changes.
We should also decide on a backup date in case the weather does not cooperate. I was thinking the following Saturday could work as an alternative. Let me know what you think about that option and I will include it in the group message.

500 boxes available — one per household — provided at no charge to participants. This offer concludes Tomorrow.
See what’s included
Omaha Steaks is making 500 gourmet sampler boxes available as part of this program. Each box, typically priced over $600, is provided at no charge to recipients. Recipients will not be billed for the sampler. One sampler per household is available, and the offer ends Tomorrow.
Inside Your Box
4 Ribeyes
4 Filet Mignons
4 New York Strips
6 Top Sirloins
Each cut is hand-selected and flash-frozen to lock in exceptional flavor. Quantities are determined by program allocation.
Thank you for reviewing this program offer.
For the community garden planning session I think we should focus on selecting crops that thrive in our climate zone. The soil test results showed good nutrient levels with a slightly acidic pH which works well for most vegetables. I was thinking we could divide the plots into sections for tomatoes, peppers, leafy greens, and root vegetables. The irrigation system needs adjustments before planting season so I will coordinate with the facilities team to get that scheduled. We should also discuss volunteer scheduling for watering and weeding during the summer months. I have a spreadsheet with potential planting layouts to share at the meeting. The seed order needs to be placed by the end of next week to ensure timely delivery. Let me know if you have any specific varieties you would like to include.
I also wanted to check if anyone has experience with companion planting since that could help with pest management. I have read some good resources on pairing certain crops together and would be happy to share those notes with the group before we finalize the layout.
