Yes, I would recommend the Ridge Loop Trail at Mount Weather. The elevation=
 gain is moderate, about 800 feet over 3.5 miles, and the views at the top =
are worth the effort. I would suggest going early in the morning to avoid t=
he midday heat. The trail is well-maintained but can be muddy in spots afte=
r rain, so sturdy boots are a good idea. There is a stream about halfway up=
 where you can rest and refill water bottles. The overlook at the summit fa=
ces east, so morning light is ideal for photos. Allow about two and a half =
hours to complete the loop at a comfortable pace. Parking is available at t=
he trailhead, but it fills by 9am on weekends. The park service has done so=

We decided to repaint the living room with a warmer color palette and I thi=
nk it turned out well. The olive green accent wall gives the space a cozy f=
eel without making it too dark. We used a matte finish which hides the impe=
rfections in the plaster nicely. The ceiling needed two coats of fresh whit=
e paint to cover the previous yellowing. I also replaced the old curtain ro=
ds with brushed nickel ones that match the light fixtures. The whole projec=
t took about three days including prep work and cleanup. One thing I learne=
d is that blue painter's tape really does make a difference for clean edges=
 along the trim. We are thinking about doing the hallway next in a similar =
scheme but maybe with a lighter shade. The color samples we picked up from =
the hardware store were helpful for visualizing the final result in differe=
nt lighting conditions throughout the day.

The trim around the windows was a bit tricky because the previous paint had=
 a gloss finish that did not adhere well. We sanded it down and used a prim=
er before applying the new color. It made a big difference in the final loo=
k. The room feels more cohesive now and we are pleased with how it turned o=
ut.
